“My six-year-old daughter, Molly, deeply desires to communicate
but often struggles to speak. This can be both frustrating and upsetting
for her, and, as her family, for us. Molly participated in the virtual CRP this
summer. As part of the program, we were given feelings cards.
With practice, Molly has learned to use the cards to ‘voice’ what she feels
and needs. We now know when Molly’s upset, in pain, or if she’s happy.
It goes without saying that being able to understand—and share—Molly’s
thoughts makes us tremendously happy.”
