“
The Early Connections program at DSCBA has supported me from my first
moments of motherhood and throughout each stage of my daughter’s early
development. Early Connections has given me the information, resources, and
connections I’ve needed to be the best mother I can be for my child with Down
syndrome. Many of us enter into this journey unprepared for a diagnosis, filled
with fear, and misinformed about Down syndrome. Early Connections provides the
space for parents to grow, learn, and see firsthand how much love and joy there is
in this journey. It wasn’t long after joining this group that my fear of the unknown
was replaced with true gratitude to be part of this beautiful Down syndrome
”
community. I couldn’t be more thankful for this program. - Courtney
